Steel Workshop Construction Site In September 2023, a Sri Lankan customer ordered a steel structure workshop with crane from us. In December 2023, the customer received the steel components and installation is now starting. During the installation process, the customer took some photos of the installation site for us. Through these photos, our engineers discovered that there was a problem with the customer’s installation steps. We gave him some optimization suggestions for his steel shop installation process to help him complete the installation correctly and efficiently.      

Congratulations to the Sri Lankan customer for successfully receiving his steel structure workshop building kit. All kits are custom-made by agreement and include primary steel frames, secondary steel frames and purlins, doors and windows, drain pipes, bolts, and bridge cranes. This project departed from Dalian Port and took 35 days to arrive in Sri Lanka. The entire project lasted 60 days, from design, manufacturing to delivery to Sri Lanka. QHHK participates in the entire project process, from agreeing on final drawings, processing steel components, helping customers select shipping companies, assisting customers in customs clearance, and guiding customers in unloading.  

In September 2023, a Sri Lankan customer contacted us and wanted to build a workshop toilet paper manufacturing plant with a crane. At present, we have completed the shipment and are waiting for the customer to install it in the on-site workshop.   Within 60 days, we completed the structural design, steel component manufacturing, crane procurement and delivery together. QHHK has direct crane suppliers and recommends the most economical and reliable models to customers based on their needs. Workshop Processing Video>>   Within 20 days, our factory completes all work including cutting, welding, grinding, rust removal, pre-assembly and spraying of steel components. At the same time, a steel frame pallet was made for the customer to package and fix all the steel beams.   Steel Component Transportation The freight company contacted by our agent is responsible for all transportation matters from China to the customer’s port. We have chosen both conventional containers and open-top containers for our customers. Conventional containers carry steel beams, and open-top containers carry cranes and purlins.   Pre-Assembly of Steel Components For prefabricated steel buildings, pre-assembly is a very important step. Before processing, engineers and customers will agree on the final processing drawings. However, processing errors may occur during the processing, which is a very serious problem. Because when the completed steel components are transported to the construction site, they may face fatal problems that cannot be connected and installed. Re-work by the customer for secondary processing and modification will again incur a large amount of costs and will also delay the construction period. However, many steel structure suppliers will omit the pre-assembly process because this will shorten the delivery cycle. This is why there are installation accidents during the construction of steel structure buildings every year. QHHK regards pre-assembly as a key link, and we will strictly implement it regardless of the size of the project. Only if there are no problems with the pre-assembly will we carry out other work such as painting.  

Panama Metro The Panama Metro is one of the main modes of transportation for people traveling in Panama City. It currently has 2 lines and 14 stations. The Line 3 subway is under planning and construction, and 15 more subway stations are expected to be planned and constructed. Line 1 runs north-south, and Lines 2 and 3 run east-west.   Panama Metro Line 1 Panama Metro Line 1 has a total length of 15.8 kilometers and is divided into elevated and underground sections. It connects San Ysidro and Albrook Bus Terminal and has a total of 14 stations. This is the first subway in Central America and is of iconic significance.   Panama Metro Line 2 Metro Line 2 has a total length of 21 kilometers and is mainly an elevated track with 16 stations. It connects San Miguelito and the eastern part of Panama north of Tocumen International Airport. Each station on Line 2 has a total area of approximately 7,000 square meters and carries 40,000 passengers per hour, with a minimum departure interval of 90 seconds.   Panama Metro Line 3 Construction of Metro Line 3 will begin in 2021 and is expected to be opened in 2025. The total length of Line 3 is 34 kilometers. The construction of Line 3 is divided into two phases. The first phase will connect Albrook and the Future City area, and the second phase will extend to La Chorrera. The line will cut travel time between the two places in half, from the original 90 minutes to 45 minutes.   The Panama Metro is a landmark project in Central America. It not only promotes employment and economic development in Panama, but also improves local travel and quality of life. In future planning, Panama will continue to add subway systems of Lines 4, 5, and 6, which gives us our expectations and blessings.   Panama Metro Station Project Steel Structure Kit QHHK is honored to participate in the Panama Metro construction project. We were selected to be one of the steel structure suppliers for the three stations of Line 1. The project representatives of this subway station visited QHHK in December 2023 and visited our office and factory. The customer representatives recognized our processing capabilities. At the same time, we met to discuss a large number of key aspects of the project and finally reached a cooperation.   At present, QHHK has completed the processing of some steel structural components and is expected to complete the delivery of some subway station steel kits from March to April, with all shipments completed in the first half of 2024. We look forward to the subsequent construction of other new stations in Panama and the construction of subway lines 4, 5 and 6, and look forward to longer-term cooperation in addition to the Panama slaughterhouse, Panama workshops and subway station projects. The Columbia Steel Bailey Bridge is a military project undertaken by QHHK in 2018. It is mainly used for crawler vehicles and pedestrians. Since the weight of passing vehicles is relatively large, a three-row single-layer design is adopted to enhance the load-bearing capacity. The bridge is 13.5 meters long and 4.2 meters wide, and is overall silver. In order to prevent corrosion and long-term protection of Bailey Bridge components, silver galvanizing is done. The bridge deck uses steel plates, and the beams use H-shaped steel and are reinforced with purlins. The bridge has been put into use for 6 years. Apart from daily painting and anti-corrosion maintenance, there has been no structural damage.

In 2022, the Panama slaughterhouse project we manufactured will start construction. In January 2023, the customer gave us the first on-site feedback, saying that our steel structure is very good. In April, the customer shared a good news with us again. In April 2023, the ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in Panama went to the construction site of the slaughterhouse. The ambassador visited the steel structure components manufactured by QHHK and the on-site installation and construction. The customer made tea for the ambassador with the teapot we gave them, and the ambassador also explained to us the beautiful meaning and blessings of the teapot we gave to the customer! Customers say that we have contributed to the friendship between China and Panama.  

Shenyang Dongtai is an environmental protection industry company specializing in hazardous waste management and solid waste treatment. In 2018, QHHK undertook the design and manufacturing of eight steel workshop buildings for Dongtai Incineration Plant. The Dongtai plant covers a total area of approximately 113,000 square meters and was completed in December 2019, with a total disposal capacity of 98,000 tons per year. This includes an incineration treatment system of 63,000 tons/year, a physical and chemical treatment system of 60,000 tons/year, and a packaging container cleaning system of 5,000 tons/year. The overall appearance of Dongtai’s workshop is light blue-grey, with two-meter-high concrete walls painted with blue paint. All workshop doors use sliding doors. The upper and lower rows of PVC windows are used to greatly improve the indoor illumination. All plates are made of color steel plates.

We contracted the design, manufacturing and installation guidance of three steel structure workshops. In 2023, we completed the steel frame installation of Building 3. In March 2024 we completed the installation of roof and wall panels. The color of the panels is blue and gray. A large amount of glass is installed on the wall to increase indoor lighting.

In December 2023, Mr. Huang from Belize came to Shenyang to visit QHHK. The main purpose of Mr. Huang’s visit this time is to discuss his commercial shopping mall plan with us. Our sales manager Bella introduced Mr. Huang to our company’s development history from 2000 to 2023, our factories and completed projects. At the same time, Bella focused on the project plan we developed for Mr. Huang and showed the exquisite effect design drawings. Mr. Huang is very much looking forward to the day when the renderings are finally realized. In addition to agreeing on the structural design, we recommended the most suitable doors, windows, roof and wall panels to Mr. Huang based on his requirements. Regarding Mr. Huang’s questions about bolt rust, plate rust, installation methods, etc., our engineers gave very professional answers that Mr. Huang recognized very much. Finally, we reached a unified opinion on the packaging, transportation and installation of steel components.   For dinner, we entertained Mr.Huang with Northeastern Chinese specialties. Moreover, our general manager composed an impromptu poem for Mr. Huang, which made the dinner atmosphere very happy. “It was a really great visit,” said Mr. Huang.   The next day, Mr. Huang visited our steel structure manufacturing factory, and the under-construction steel structure workshop project in Shenyang. He highly recognized our processing technology and product quality. This further deepened the trust between us. After final communication and confirmation of project details, Mr. Huang signed a contract for the project with us. At present, the project is about to enter the processing and production stage.    

QHHK CEO–Peter visited customers in Belize and inspected the local market. The Belizean Mr.Huang’s steel shopping mall building is being produced at QHHK’s Chinese factory.   Peter visited a local building materials dealer in Belize and introduced QHHK’s company situation. He also introduced Mr. Huang’s supermarket project and our plan. Belize building materials dealers gave excellent evaluations of QHHK’s product quality and services. Peter’s trip to Belize opened up the local market and added stronger impetus to our expansion into overseas markets. In addition to Belize, QHHK is widely circulated in Panama, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and other places. We even have a strong relationship with the Panamanian Embassy. Latin America is one of QHHK’s most important markets. We export 15,000 tons of steel structures here every year. We take every customer seriously and do every project well.
